Jim Denova is currently an independent contractor. He has spent over thirty years in philanthropy, most recently as the Vice President of the Benedum Foundation. Prior nonprofit experience spans administrative and research positions with the United Way, Community College, Catholic Charities, and Kane Hospital.
Jim serves on boards and committees for educational, philanthropic, and arts organizations; and he has received awards from the Children’s Defense Fund; Marshall, Shepherd, and West Liberty Universities; Philanthropy West Virginia; Southwest Pennsylvania Partnership on Aging; and the National Association of Educational Service Agencies.
Jim holds a Ph.D. in social research from the University of Pittsburgh.
